Becoming a female of purpose is hard work when we try to go it alone. My hope is that we come to realize we aren’t alone. There is One who is our helper and He is the Holy Spirit. If you like this blog, sign up for my weekly Tuesday email newsletter @Forhisglory1000@gmail.com.
A widow, later married to my God as in Isaiah 54, a healed daughter of God after two strokes, a woman who has not always lived a life of excellence but constantly is immersed in His grace, that is who I am. With broken relationships in my past, I am born again from above in my present. I am whole and highly expectant of God’s kindness and willingness to be Protector, Provider, Husband and Savior.
I am a mother. I was a daughter of violent, incestuous people. I am now the bride of Christ. I met Him more than forty years ago and still don’t know Him as well as I want. I hear the pillow talk with the Holy Spirit that whispers His joy in me, because His Word says He has joy in me. My God cannot lie and does not change His mind.
I want every woman on this planet to know the goodness and reality and closeness of our God on such a personal level that room for doubt is non-existent, that we recognize our own value as seen in His own sacrifice.
